Delete Your Account
How to permanently delete your Wheee account and associated data.
Wheee is operated by Akhil Sabu trading as Wheee (NZBN: 9429052914478). To delete your account and all associated data, please email us from the email address linked to your Wheee account.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to contact@automateworkflow.co.nz with:
- Subject line: Delete my account
- From: The email address linked to your Wheee account
- Include:
- Your registered phone number
- Your full name
What Gets Deleted
We will permanently delete:
- Profile information (name, email, phone, saved addresses)
- Saved places and favourites
- Ride history (pickup, dropoff, timestamps, driver info)
- Payment method tokens
- Push notification tokens
- Chat messages exchanged with drivers
What We Retain and Why
We are required to keep some records:
- Billing records and invoices: Retained for 7 years to comply with New Zealand Inland Revenue record-keeping requirements.
- Anonymised aggregate ride statistics: Retained indefinitely for service improvement. This data is stripped of any identifiers linking back to you.
Timeline
We will confirm your deletion request within 3 business days of receiving your email, and complete the deletion within 30 days.
